Our people stand at the center of everything we do in Zátiší Group. This is why our team includes some of the best professionals in the industry.

Sanjiv Suri - President & CEO of Zátiší Group

When I first came to Prague in the early 1990’s, I was enchanted.
However, I quickly realized that the field of catering and culinary arts
was still an uncharted territory. I decided to change that and opened
my first place, V Zátiší wine bar. Since then, the business has grown
and prospered, and the Czech Republic has become my home.
My four children, Virat, Jacqueline, Shaan and Jasmine, and my wife Markéta
are the greatest source of happiness in my life.

Dana Krautstenglová - Director

It was crazy to quit a good job at the age of 50 and join Mr. Suri in his uncertain enterprise. The only thing I knew about him was that he comes from India and is 31. Also, as an economist I had no experience in gastronomy until that time, but it was a challenge and so I took it up.
Today, after seventeen years of cooperation and building up the company, I can say that they have been the most beautiful and fulfilling years of my life.

Renata Lukášová - Fresh & Tasty Director

I have been working in the hospitality industry since 1999 when I moved from Brno to Prague. During these years I have worked in a DMC (as a constant client of Zátiší Group btw) and then in a luxurious hotel.
Since January 2008, I am a member of the great Zatisi Group team and I do believe that here I am utilizing my experience very well.
Personally, I enjoy experimentation in food. I’m especially attracted to ethnic cuisines, but those of you who know me well will confirm that I am “into soups” and that at almost any time I can find a place for chocolate.
I also am keen on (almost) all animals and most of my free time I spend walking with my dog.
I am sure that we will find a common language and I’m looking forward to cooperating with you!

David Tomašovych - Managing Director Zátiší Catering, Prague Congress Centre

Zatisi Group – it is my last fifteen years. And they have been very busy years! I started in the Parnas restaurant. I spent two afternoons there and on the third I joined the restaurant V Zatisi. First as a waiter and gradually I worked my way up to a Deputy Manager. For a short time I came back to Parnas, then back to V Zatisi and in between I have launched a new restaurant Circle Line. My next task was to “close” the legendary Corona bar and to establish a new fine dining restaurant called Mlynec. When this mission was completed, I moved to the Prague Congress Centre ás the Operations Manager with responsibility for the catering of all events held in the Congress Centre and at our venue called ZOOM Unique Place.
All these changes and the freedom and opportunity to bring my ideas to life are what I really enjoy; and of course good food – steaks mainly.

Martin Vobořil - Director of Operation Zátiší Catering

I started in Zátiší as a temp waiter at catering events, but I got to like the thrill and challenge of catering so much that I could not but jump at the opportunity to become a permanent member of Zátiší catering team. I feel very privileged to be able to work in such a beautiful place as Žofín Palace.
Favorite dishes: I have more than just a working relationship with food – cooking is my favorite pastime and I make a point of buying a cookbook of local specialties whenever I go for a vacation or a trip abroad. I like Moravian wines and recommend them to all our international clients.
Hobbies: I enjoy cycling, I often go to movies and I like to travel.

Libor Pavlíček - Managing Director V Zátiší

I am considered a part of Zatisi Group’s inventory already, I guess!
I have worked for the company from its start. It is unbelievable, but I started in 1990 as a timid waiter in the Parnas restaurant. Gradually I worked my way up to Chef de Ranque, Deputy Manager and finally Restaurant Manager of V Zatisi in ... Over the last year, for a short period of time, I helped with forming the new team at Bellevue, but now I am back in “my” V Zatisi. I think it is obvious what is keeping me with the company: the huge possibilities of professional development, and gastronomy and service on the highest level. I am a living example of what Zatisi Group makes possible to its people.
Concerning food, I like anything, but my real passion is wines. Most of all I love Rieslings from South Moravia, Rhineland and Alsace.

Tomáš Melich - Managing Director Bellevue and Žofín Garden

I have been working for Zatisi Group for ten years already. I started in the legendary Corona Bar and then changed to the restaurant V Zatisi.
In February 2007 I got the chance to become the manager of the Bellevue restaurant; to create a completely new team here and to change the restaurant from scratch.
I consider Bellevue to be my baby. I think it has managed the first steps of its life, but I still have to bring it up and try to manage it in a way that the guests like it as much as I do.
Again and again, I am fascinated by the view from the Bellevue’s windows toward the river and the Prague Castle. I enjoy it every day and never tire of it.
Wine is another big hobby of mine, especially white from Burgundy and red from Piedmont.
